Best synthetic for HOT weather?
Well, with my Yaris turning 8k km yesterday, I guess it's time to start getting ready for my incoming oil change.
The dealer schedules an oil change every 10k kms (6213.71 miles), and I'm wondering if at that mileage I can make the switch to synthetic, or if it would be better to go with a synthetic blend for now, and then switch to full synthetic? Also, I'd like to know which oil would be best to use in a country that averages ~35°C on a normal sunny day. Brand recommendations are very welcome, but since I probably won't have engine oil shipped from the US to Panama, I'm most likely to go with the best brand I can find locally. Thanks in advance =)
