Since you are up in NY for the holidays, are you having the car repaired up here before you go back to Florida? Important thing is you are okay. Everyone I know has hit deer atleast once here in NY.

Not the first thread I've seen on YW involving a run-in with a deer. Always sad to hear.

At least you're alright, and your expensive aftermarket headlights are undamaged (at least from here anyway)

thanks, all, for the well wishes! yes, i'm having the car fixed up here. i'm just leaving it with family and flying down for school and at some point, coming back up to drive 'er back. it starts up fine, but doesn't like to stay started... it's like the throttle has a mind of its own. it'll sit idle at low rpm, then crank itself up real high, then go back down or even stall out. and it severed the wire to my brand new airhorn, too! =\

actually, those are the factory lights, just taken apart, painted, and put back together :-)
