Sound Settings

I put in a new Pioneer deh-5100ub head unit. only thing i suck at is the technical sound settings. i know its a bleak question since they are all different, but i play with all the sound options and i cannot find a good sound. what can i do myself? stock speakers as well

There's your problem. Stock speakers. I have the exact same headunit but I got the package version where it includes the HD external tuner. I keep my loudness on high, custom eq at +1, +3, +2, all q factor settings at 2W, and sub on normal. This arrangement makes the system sound incredible, but that is in collaboration with the speakers and sub I have in the car. It's different for others with different setups. No matter what you do though you won't get the stock speakers to sound too good.
