What exhaust manifold is the best..

First of all is it really worth changing from the stock...Iam gonna get the pulley set from garm first...But if i change the manifold which one has the best quality and will line up with the stock back exhaust..All i have now is the Tanabe Touring muffler..thanks

AFAIK there is no intake manifold for us yet. Richard Holdener was making one but ran into some issues. There is potential however from what his tests showed.

gmodder, you are talking about an exhaust header, not an intake manifold. There is no intake mani for us yet. I have Megan Racing and Thunder headers, there are also DC Sports and maybe one other brand out there?

I think ChinoCharkes dyno'ed his car before and after the installation of a Megan header, and he gained about 5hp, but at higher RPMs (4000+ I think), and actually lost a bit of power at lower speeds. There's really not enough data to give you an accurate answer about the other brands, but DC Sports' design should in theory have the best power characteristics.

I hate questions of worth. Is it worth it? To you maybe to me not.
A drag racer will spend any amounts of money to make his car faster. To him it's worth it. A SOLO driver wanting to stay w/i the limits of H-stock no, it's not worth it. I'm assuming you are neither of these two scenarios. If you have money to burn, i'd say yeah do it. If you have no other car to mod, then i say why not. But otherwise, wait until you have more engine modding planned to utilize the full benefits of an exhaust manifold.
