you need pics?
I can walk ya through it you need a 10mm (maybe 11mm can't remember off hand) there are three bolts underneath that 'vent' cover one kinda tucked up and the other two down near the sides. then once they are off just pull straight back (you'll need to pull kinda hard the first time)

Thanks for the reply, the guy figured it out =) He just struggled for a while and I felt guilty because I assumed he would know..
I was just on his phone and the search function on this forum wouldnt work- kept saying something about an invalid string- assume it had to do with the fact I was on a phone. Also, was trying to browse the DIY stickied thread and couldnt find a regular ole "remove tail lights" DIY.. there was one about smoking lights, but it didnt show step by step how the lights were removed, and there were others about replacing lights.. but I couldnt find anything about just plain old removing lights. Anyway this should prob be moved to the diy section (sorry i was in a hurry last night) But my lights were smoked and I love them! Not as dark as I thought it would be bc we followed the 3-coat rule on the can.. but I rather be safe/legal then cool-looking, such a nerd! |

)

Thanks, I thought I clicked on one of the diys showing how to replace the lights but the begining didnt go into details how to remove the lights, just started showing how to disconnect/connect some wires.. The guy was having trouble finding the bolts, but he figured it out after a while.
But I was in a hurry and on the crappiest internet screen ever so I prob missed it! Thanks for the reply though, if I ever need to remove the lights again I'll search around the DIY threads on a computer BEFORE I'm in a garage with just a cell phone lol. |
