is a 2 inch drop on 205/45/17 going to be too low?

wouldnt you bottom out on bumps and stuff causing a lot of scraping underneath?

Really depends on your wheel's offset. I have the S.Tech's, so almost 2" drop, and I have 205/40/17 (a little smaller than yours) with an ET 40 on my 17x7 wheels. I have a slight rub on freeway dips.

Also your wheels' offset. Do you happen to know them by chance? But yeah, really careful driving. Gotta avoid potholes on the freeway too. When ever I can, I'll take the long way around a parking lot to avoid speed bumps.
