Went to the machine shop today after picking up some misc. hardware and at the end of the day we spat these out. Adjustable swaybar endlinks! I know there is a GB for these now but with my companys accounts with machien shops, applied industrial technologies, and bolt and screw places i spat these out for a clean $100. made from aircraft grade aluminum and stainless heim joints ( i forgot the rating number but they are the same grade used in landing gears, old ones are in the picture on the rods, new ones will be in tomorrow) All highest grade hardware as well. sometimes i do like going to work!

i cant wait to test drive them once i get the new heim joints in. im super excited!

Damn i like the look of these better. The only comment is since it dosnt have a hex pattern it would be hard to rotate them without using pliers or something that would scratch the surface. Instead of using a wrench. But to me i like the look of these better.

Yeah, maybe you should have the machinist mill some flats at the rod ends so a wrench has a place to hold.

ya ive thought about doing that on my next set. these are just a prototype set. the rod is made from 7075-T6 aluminum.

Just went out to my car in the garage and realized it dosnt really matter what it looks like cause you will never see it unless you are under the car.

well i had a friend at a machine shop around the corner do the rod machining, other than that i screwed everything together. haha

i dont plan on selling them as there probably would be enough interest to keep costs low enough for people to want to buy. i suggest if you do want them get in on the group buy while you can in the suspension thread. if you do want a set like mine it will probably cost the same, maybe a tiny bit more as the grade of components is very high. contact me if you do though.

Are you going to powder-coat or paint the rods? The 7075-T6 isn't the best as far as corrosion resistance goes, and if you don't want to continually inspect them for corrosion, and if you don't paint them, you should at least alodine them.

The rods in the group buy are stainless, I think. These are beautiful, I would definitely powdercoat them for myself. TRD red, of course.

as of right now they are not powdercoated. i knew i would be making some changes to them (ie, notches to turn with wrench as so forth), but they will be coated. just test driving with them now.

u guys need to check out coleman racing.com and a-1 racing.com. u can get all those parts for really cheap. look for aluminum control arms in whatever length u want. i ordered a 39" rod with 2 rod ends for my panhard rod on my camaro, and ia also ordered 2 15" rods and 4 rod ends for my lower control arms. u can order heim spacers and any bolts/nuts you want. total cost for HIGHEST grade, teflon lined, chromoly rod ends and the aluminum rods and spacers was about 140 bucks. u can't even find a set of control arms alone or a PHR alone for less than that.

any way...there's plenty to do with these two sites combined...custom aluminum hat rotors and custom calipers for just about any car....ULW(ultra light weight) anything u want...and it's MUCH cheaper than aftermarket but u gotta know what u need/want

It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific.
