And take HOW long to get it whe nyou need it? Ugh!
Extinguishers are one of those things where if you need it at all, you need it NOW! You don't need to be rummaging in a comaprtment right next to the gas tank to find it
I'd say find a spring clip the right diameter, and mount it in the passenger footwell, against the centre console.

Why not, is there a specific law in Greece that prohibits it? We kept them in the cabin in both of our cars when we lived in Belgium and Germany. I still have my European first aid kit under the passenger seat of my hatchback. A little velcro strip keeps it from sliding around.

I no longer carry a fire extinguisher in the car, but I do have two mounted to the roll cage of my Jeep and a third between the driver's seat and the doorwell.

Cheers! M2

Hehe...because I don't want to have things like that in the cabine. It will not be beautiful..plus the law says it must be 3kgs.It's pretty big for the cabine.

That's your choice, of course....so, attach your clips to the back somewhere.

Agreed that a fire extinguisher belongs in the cabin to be available and functional. They make some very nice, shiny ones by the way.

A 3.5lb fire extinguisher fits perfectly (and I mean basically 'snap tight' fits) into the bin on the right side of the spare tire, under the rear cover. That's where I keep the ABC I have in my car, it's the same size we have at work littered all over the building. Can buy two-packs for $20-$30 at CostCo or Sams Club or any other mega-mart. I'll admit much of the gear I have in my car like that, or the full-sized traffic vest silk-screened with my name I use here, is because I stop at the side of the road to help others, more than to help myself. And as an engine fire is the most likely problem I'd need that for with my own car, I'd rather the extinguisher be as far away from the engine firewall as is feasable.
