Police Brutality?
Watch very carefully…… video first!!! Police Shooting nice and clean, no trial Watch the video before reading the explanation below! If you don't, you will ruin the whole thing for yourself.
What you think you see at first does not always tell the truth. Watch the video and what do you see! Officers ordering the suspect to put the gun down and it appears he is complying and then shot! Is that what you see. Want to know what it is like to work the streets and what you face? Watch the video again and watch the suspects right hand while he places the weapon down with his left hand! What you don't see, but the officer behind the suspect does see is the suspect pulling a hidden handgun from his rear pants with his right hand. Just a reminder, what you think you see at first does not always tell the truth. Watch it again, and again and learn! If you look real close you can see the gun in his hand after he is shot. The next time you hear about a police shooting, don't be to quick to judge the officers.

The other officer yelled "Gun" so yeah, pretty obvious.
I don't really get the message you're trying to make. Its not as if many of us are following cops around berating them for the shootings they do. And that would have been pretty clear if it wasn't a cellphone camera or something like that.

Um, so they got it right that time. Thanks.
I don't know that much about guns, but the perp's T shirt is perfectly white in front after having three rounds pass through him. Mysterious?

Point taken...and I might agree with the above that it was staged but the officer in front is
not not the one shooting...when the shots go off there is no kick from his handgun that I can see. The officer behind the suspect is too far away for me to see if he was shooting. Someone needs to enlarge this and and slow it down! Does the suspect move as if he is hit from behind? |

It looks like he got shot by the officer behind him IMO

He got what's coming to 'em. You never really see on these crappy vids, what's really going down. Too bad for everybody. That cop has to live with the shooting the rest of his life.

After shots fired you could only see the perp's shirt for 2 secs. The mess would depend on placement of shots, exit wounds, type of bullets etc. I did notice a brief muzzle flash from the cop in the back.

I'm sorry. I know there are "bad" cops out there but c'mon. They are out there walking the streets dealing with the worst of the worst most of the time.
Just yesterday two foot patrol officers were gunned down by an 18 year old on a bike in Milwaukee, WI. HE just rode his bike up to them and started shooting, the poor cops had no idea what hit them. They were both shot multiple times, in the face as well as other places. They both survived...but who knows in what condition they will be in when they recover. Can you really blame police officers for being a bit quick with the trigger? Put yourself in their shoes. Sure there are some bad ones but the majority of them do it for the RIGHT reasons - to protect and serve. Somebody post a story about what goes on EVERY DAY...a police officer somewhere HELPING someone. This guy would have shot the cop in front of him without blinking an eye. I say they did a GREAT job...because if he wasn't pointing it at the cops, he would have been pointing it at a store clerk or an old lady walking her dog.

If they are quick on the trigger unnecessarily, yes, I can blame them. I don't put myself in their shoes because I didn't sign up for that kind of job. The people who do, and are trained to react in life or death situations need to be held to the highest standard. If I'm going to give someone permission to use deadly force, their record has to be 100% clean, and they have to be able to be calm under pressure, not trigger happy.

Gotta love that 2nd Amendment; with so many handguns out there, I am not surprised at any of this.
On the other side, 4 cops in Phoenix "felt threatened" by a 14-year-old, all 5'3" of him, trapped in a dead-end alley, because he had a paring knife in his hand. The cops saved their own lives from this "threat" by punching 46 rounds into him. |

That sucks about the kid but that's a funny/sad and true comeback. Most cops are horrible shots. Better yet, with ammo shortages cops are getting even less trigger time at the range.

Someone else said something about ammo and they were probably right. Cops (most of the time) will use ammo that is designed to penetrate a few inches in soft tissue and mushroom/expand/star out and do more damage inside the body. This is to create more stopping power for smaller rounds and also to keep the rounds from leaving the body and creating collateral damage.

I got 5.56 with steel cores. The cop in front the dirt bag would have some holes in him probably if that other cop was using that stuff... and so would someone in their house that was down the street.
