Red face Fitted windshield sun shade

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know where I can buy a fitted windshield sun shade for my Yaris hatchback? I saw some on Ebay a few months ago, but they are no longer available. Thanks and have a good day!

I have two Yarises. In the window of my first Yaris, I have a silver fold up solar reflector, blue on the back side, that is meant for a pickup truck. The extra hang over on the fold up solar reflector, helps keep the sun out, when the Yaris is not facing into the sun square on. Plus the extra reflector on the sides makes it harder for a thief to look inside of the Yaris. In the window of my second Yaris, I have those wire framed silver cloth twist to fold up window reflectors, with flowers on the back side. The wire frames solar reflectors fit the size of the Yaris window better than the silver fold up. But the wire frames give less protection from the sun than the fold up silver reflector. The wire fold up reflectors do not give any side protection and make it easier for a thief to look inside of my Yaris.

I wonder if we could just measure the window size and maybe compare it to something like Dodge Intreprid from the nineties or something witha large front windshield...has anyone tried that?

This is exactly what I use. So do many others here on the forum.

It is a custom-fit specifically for the Yaris windshield.

The sunshade is made by Intro-Tech. Custom Fit Windshield Sunshades, Part Number "TT-81 Yaris 07-08."

I use a silver reflector sun shade which cost £3 from a local car shop. Great value and it saves the airbags and instrument pod getting the full force of the sun which can’t do it any good

Yes, custom fit is very nice. The more pricey one I use is the hardboard/foam type...very different design. Basically, the flexible silver sunshades are more reasonable...but I prefer the more rigid variety. It just depends what you think will do the best job. Given my location and parking situation, the more expensive unit makes the most sense, hang the cost. If things were different, so might be my choice. Either way, though....good fit is great. Less to fidget with. It's good to have sources of units w/ good fit, regardless of the material used.
