be-cool radiators make customs...you can give dimensions and they'll make whatever you want. it'll prob be about 800 bux tho.

Well when I go turbo I plan on keeping my ac so throwing some randome radiator in there won't be an option and keeping the car cool in the summer is important. I know I can spend 500-1k on a custom one but imo its not worth it for the money.

The ARC one from Japan is $1400, but I suppose it would get you show points.

i never ran hot, even in florida summer, on 12psi stick with toyota coolant, get an oil cooler for the turbo, and call it a day. best thing you could do is put a sensor at the water pump inlet to monitor your radiator efficiency.

I thank you for the advice. I'm basing my build knowledge on my friends 05 greddy turbo build I helped with.
Now my real question never got answered. Is the koyo rad for the yaris just replacement or is it performance? |

never seen it. What info do you have on it? The best they could do is to make a full-width one like mine.

the only info i could find is in the link... and that means no info. When I check koyo's main website i cant find detailed description of their product line. Maybe i'll send them an e-mail.

At that price I highly doubt it performs any better than the OEM toyota radiator. From my experience real koyo performance rads are usually 350+

you have to remember, the end goal of a larger capacity radiator is to improve cooling. well, if you know your end goal is to improve cooling, what else can you do to improve cooling efficiency without upgrading the radiator? well, there are bumper modifications to improve flow to the radiator, changing the mixture, ducting the hood and improving flow over the radiator, and probably alot more. So if you cant find the radiator you want, check out some other ways to improve the airflow. i know you can build ducting off the rear or the radiator and vent it out the hood or sides and improve your flow and cooling efficiency.
if you do some searching, you can probably find a ton of stuff along those lines.

I think i may just buy the radiator to see how it is, if it's only about $130 after shipping it can't be worse. A fan mod will come too, with a switch
