**happy now**
got behind a porsche 944 getting onto the highway at lunch time. the onramp has a nice, relatively tight "S" before hitting the straight of the ramp before merging
guy was trying to pull away from me, but couldnt i stuck to him like glue and came out of the "S" pulling up on him some days i don't mind only having 100hp

I like the idea of a Porsche that weighs 2600-2700lbs and has 150-160hp. A civic weighs more and makes the same power now, and that's not a good thing. What happened to all the light cars.

time to time i go for a spirited touge run with my friend who owns 04 boxter s.
theoretically, with the numbers, the boxter should outrun me both in a straight and in corners, but when we are doing the touge runs together, I have no problem keeping up with him (except the uphill corners...lol) these cars are pretty solid touge machines...imho.

I can't imagine that the 944 is really worth keeping around for what it costs to maintain and what it is.
They don't even look very good, IMO. |
