AFE air filter dimensions.

just wondering what the inlet size is for the pipe on the AFE intake tube. i need a new replacement filter and autozone has one for 25 bux but it's 3" and i really dont think that it's that big. K&n's smallest inlet size is 2.75" and i dont think it's that big...

now, my car is outside, and i live near a huge ditch and skeeters are horrible outside....so i'm being lazy and dreading being eaten alive by mosquitoes. any way, if you have any idea what the inlet pipe size is on the AFE intake setup is i'd like to know please.
