Ideas on an AT Temp Tap Location??
I'm installing a transmission fluid temperature gauge and I simply cannot figure out a place to place the sender unit. Originally, I was going to use the No.1 transaxle nut as shown on page 15 here:
http://etimago.com/yaris/repairmanua...0Transaxle.pdf, but the part I need basically doesn't exist. I ordered this (http://www.sunpro.com/product_detail.php?pid=16338), but it turns out I need an M8 x 1.0 (?). So uh, I can't find this anywhere online. I haven't bothered with auto / plumbing stores because apparently every store in the states HATES metric units. I was laughed at at Home Depot for even showing the balls to ask for something that isn't English units. ANYWAYS, I digress. Anybody have any ideas as to where I can place a sender unit? |
