Hi, everyone. This is my first thread on Yarisworld.
![]() There were a few tens of golf balls lying around. So I got an idea: I'd make a shift knob out of a golf ball. I somehow happened to get these shocking pink Spalding "lady" golf balls, so I grabbed one of the balls , drilled a hole in it, and replaced the stock shifter.(If you want to remove your shifter, just unscrew the knob counter-clockwise. It takes a lot of turns, but it'll come off easily.) Here's the result. I hope it won't come off while I'm "driving" . (I actually drilled and screwed the ball in pretty deep. The thread went about halfway inside.)![]() What do you think? I think I better find a collar or something to cover the exposing screw thread. |
