2010 vs 06-09
i know there were a few differences in lights and bumpers between '09 and '10 but i was wondering if 09 rear lights will fit my '10. and if so, i was looking on ebay for rs tails, should i stay away from ebay for this?

I've owned both an '09 & a '10 hatchback and both were 100% identical cosmetically. AFAIK the only differences between the two are extra safety stuff on the '10 (traction control, EBD, etc.) and a tachometer. I see no reason why '09 taillights will have fitment issues on a '10. If we're talking about sedans then I have no idea.

well ive been told and seen for myself the front headlights in particular are different and for thus for the fitment the front bumper is different too.
if i recall correctly, i was told the rear bumper has a bit of a newer shape also; tapers more around the hatch but im not sure if this is also carried thru into the rear lights or if it levels out for the lights.

'09 and '10 are identical. '06 to '08 are identical. The cosmetic 'face lift' was introduced on the '09s.

any site or listing that says 06-09 probably doesn't realize that there was a face lift. much like kaminari who despite numerous emails never would change their info.
but like others have said.... 06-08 same, and 09-10 same.
