Going to be in a show this weekend first time, any ideas on ways to add some flare to the car suxh as catch eyes(whashing detailing, bringing stuff along ways to prop hoods door trunks mirros anything)

if you bought electricity, get some simple overhead lights like above bathroom mirrors. just lay them on the ground next to your car and point each one at a particular spot that make the car look fresh.

if you have some undercarriage polished or rare exhaust, back up on some ramps and use the mirror so people can see the cleanliness of your undercarriage.

i dont know what car show you are going to, but if its HotImportNights or TunerBash like we used to have, judges actually will check the back of the rims behind the spokes for dirt. i dont know how detailed you wanna get. but see if you can clean your fender wells and some real nice tire shine.

get ready to be overwhelmed by the excessive amount of spray wax, that will be what you breath for the next 12 or so hours.

good luck, im sure there is much more. being your first, take notes at others displays and things they point out. and when the winners are announced, take note and if you dont remember the car, go walk over and see what they did.

dont be afraid to ask the judges what they are looking for and list every detail you did to the car, cuz the judges dont know your car like you do. bring a list
