@syntax / @Jonimac, baka may pangtanggal kayo ng adhesive tape? May mga residue pa kasing naiwan, napaltos yung daliri ko kahapon, hirap kasi tanggalin. HAhaha!
Madali lang tanggalin emblem lalo na pag nakabilad sa araw ang car. simpleng lubid lang ginamit ko, naputol pa nga eh.

May konting resedue pa pero natatanggal na din unti-unti. Might remove them permanently. Also having some second thought just like you wanted, sand and paint them maybe flat black.

ok ! naghahanap na nga ako ng magagamit para matanggal din ung sakin, pati ung sticker na nilagay nung dealership, pero naghahanap muna ako ng 3M VHB tape

@syntax, inform mo ako kung magtatanggal ka na ng emblems mo. Meron ako dito goo-gone, baka makatulong din sayo.

^ I also bought WD-40 from Danube, it costs around 12riyals i think, was that cheap? or any reco?

Di pa gaano, diko pa na-try gamitin eh, wala pang oras. Ill post pics kung ok na.

Ok... finally, naalis ko na din mga residue na naiwan sa trunk cover. Ill try to snap some pics this week. As for the residues, simpleng WD40 lang ang kailangan and some plain cloth. Then rinse it off with water after applying cause this will accumulate dust on the paint.

Side note: @syntax, ill try to to repaint the emblems including the Toyota Logo. How's that sound??

@syntax, just painted my front and rear toyota logo this morning. I bought some spray paints yesterday (matt black and clear coat) tig 5 riyals lang isa kaya di ganun kagastos na mod. As for the two emblems ("Toyota" and "Yaris") baka hindi ko na muna siguro ilalagay yun since I'm enjoying a clean look from the rear-end. I took pictures of the DIY paint job, pero antayin ko munang malinis si Mica para mailgay na yung mga emblems taps picture ulit.

Applying the first coat.





Use some hair blower to shorten the waiting time.





After applying 3 coats of Black paint, hair blower it again then once the paint is dry you can now apply the clear coat to make it glossy looking.




Clean the surface first before putting those emblems.
