tekmoe's suspension & wheels project: complete

i hate showing pictures of a dirty ass ride but i just can't help it. and we won't have any nice weather for almost another week. i will snap some more "professional" shots once i get her all cleaned up and it's nice & sunny outside.

i'm so happy i finally got this done. it wasn't cheap but the looks are worth it.

*** update ***

did a photoshoot earlier today after giving the yaris a good cleaning. more pictures can be found here:

i'm thinking so. apparently even yaris' with stock suspension have the tops sticking up. ken had one of his mechanics look at it and he confirmed this was the case. if that's true, it's a no-brainer that this is normal.

man, so much confusion! it's not healthy i tell ya!

Wow that looks really good. I wish they made feathers in gunmetal or bronze. I cant wait for more pics.

I was gonna buy springtech springs tomorrow, but now I think im gonna order the TRD springs instead.

performance gains?

how do they perform? any driving impressions? or do you want to put a few miles on 'em first?

just got back from some "spirited" driving.

the car sticks to the road a lot better. feels more planted thru the turns. the streets are a little slick right now and i haven't got to test out the new stuff on anything dry yet. however, even with the streets being slightly wet the car handles very good. beware though, you will feel every bump in the road. a sport suspension is definitely not for the people who want an easy-going ride. if you want to soak up the bumps, stick with the stock suspension.

so far i am loving it. i think the tires still need a little more time to break in. i think i have 100 miles on them so far.

hmmm, what else can i buy? i want that trd quickshifter...

I love the feathers in Black, I wish I would have waited to get wheels. Those would have looked sick on my blackie with my 225/50R15 BFG's :(
