To buy or not to buy?

So.. long story short. Car DIED today. I got approved for a $12,000 loan with a $2,000 down payment, putting my budget at $14k! I have three days to decide and have really been looking at the Yaris'!! I love the 2010 Sedans and they seem to have good reviews.. advice? Anyone know a car near Puyallup, WA for sale in my price range? And any tips you can give me when looking are most welcome! I drive A LOT. I easily put 500 miles on my car in a week.. is the Yaris a good commuter for the amount of driving I do? Both city and highway. I'm everywhere. HELP! Thanks! You guys are the best!!
