Adding a "dead pedal", panel trim question
I'm making and installing a rubber "dead-pedal" in the drivers footwell (pix to follow) and in the process of getting up in there, I notice the trim panel is stuck on what looks like a bolt (red, like the paint on my car) , but no nut or retainer on it at all.
Same thing on the passenger's side. This is at the topmost portion of the carpeting, as it goes up the firewall, against the outermost portion of the car (what would be the front fender, but the inside of it) ![]() Curious if something was overlooked hardware-wise in the assembly of my car, or if thats the norm. Hopefully someone's got a moment to look up there with a flashlight on their own Yaris and see if there's is the same? Thanks in advance! |
