cruise control question
ever since i installed my cruise control, i've been using it constantly, even on local roads i would set it to the speed limit and let the car drive itself. i find it really useful. I want to know if it will damage the ecu or cruise control if I always use it?
is there anyway i can get it to work at low speed? can i install adaptive cruise control on the yaris? |

You won't hurt anything (other than perhaps gas mileage a bit) by using it frequently. With a drive by wire car, like ours, there really isn't any difference between the gas pedal or the ECM itself being the device that determines how much to drive the throttle motor.
Low speed operation really isn't an option, since the threshold is hard coded into the ECM.
