Interesting icons on 2012 base stereo... - Toyota Yaris Forums

Saw these today while waiting on my wife....

'BT' and a signal indicator? Looks like Bluetooth to me... wonder what model has bluetooth on the base stereo? Anybody think it might be upgradable?

My 2012 Yaris LE had Bluetooth capability on the head unit. Answer calls, hear them through the stereo, mic in cabin etc. Never did set it up, mostly because a earpiece is more convenient to me, and I have since changed the stock head unit.

But isnt the LE a different radio?

In the US, our L models (Base model) gets this radio (no bluetooth):

While the LE and SE models get this radio (with Bluetooth):

It's the top one that I am referring to finding these icons on. Don't you guys get a different one with bluetooth in Canada?
