YW Meet in Moscow, Russia

I just came back from a 3 week vacation to England, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Estonia and Russia.

While in Moscow, Russia I had the opportunity to meet up with MickZEL and his 2007 Yaris Sedan. Yaris Sedans are quite rare in Europe, as only the liftbacks are sold there by Toyota. His is actually a USDM sedan, which was exported from the US to Russia.

.

I've spent a fair amount of time in England, Denmark, and Sweden, and I've been to Finland. I've always wanted to go to Estonia (Both the parents of a good friend of mine were born there) and to Russia. I plan (at some point) to integrate those two countries into a trip that at least also includes Poland and possibly the rest of the Eastern European countries I haven't been to.

You must have had a great time on your trip!

I wonder if you set a record for distance away from home for a 'YW meet'.

I used to travel to Canada (Mostly Montreal and Toronto) quite a bit on business, but I haven't been north of the border in a couple of years now. I visited Vancouver once on a Seattle trip.

My wife does our vacation planning and I think her next plan is for us to visit Portugal and Spain.

Hi CTScott, after Portugal and Spain, try Asia. Philippines to be exact. First the metro, then the beaches in the provinces. :)

Philippines is on my short list, as I would really like to do some SCUBA diving there.

cool! i can't be a tour guide for you through the beaches as i barely make enough money to be able to save a lot (lol) but if you are in the metro, i'll be glad to meet up. (maybe if it's my day off my fiancee and i can even drive you from the airport to your hotel. :))
