Toyota tied for 3rd most dependable brand in 2013 (JD Power). Yaris ranked #2 sub.

I think it's encouraging that the Mini Cooper is on the list. That surprised me.

I also found it interesting that the GS level Lexus didn't make 'Top of Category', but the ES did. My aunt and uncle have an ES 4-door and an RX SUV, and both have performed flawlessly. My uncle's daughter (my step cousin?) has a GX SUV. She's had a few problems along the way, but likes the way it handles.

I know. I would think the car's higher coefficient of drag and the larger engine would probably make up much of any real world lag in MPG when compared to the Yaris (with both driven in the same manner).
