gun talk

It looks like I'll be selling my high-end speakers. The owner of the sound shop here locally that I originally bought the speakers from said he has a buyer. If that doesn't work out and I put them on eBay.

I'm looking at a nice little revolver I want to get with that money...

Which one? What caliber? What will you use it for?

I'd like to get a new firearm, but I have too many already.

I've been looking at a Chiappas Rhino 50 or 60 DS .357. I'm using it for everything, plinking and home defense...to testing out various loads from .38 all the way up to .357 "hot" loads. This is why I love the .357 pieces. They're so versatile, a .38 is good for plinking and a .38 +p or .357 load for more serious uses.

If that doesn't pan out I'd like to look at a Smith & Wesson 686 Competitor 6" Weighted Barrel.

I can also fall back to some Pardini, Hammerli, Walter, Benelli or ERA IZH types if those first two choices don't pan out. I should be able to obtain the Chiappas piece easily though. The only thing that "worries" me is the advanced hammer mechanism in the piece. Otherwise it looks like the Italians have thought out that piece really well.

I'm loving the fact that these firearms are a commodity. It's guaranteed value...that's why I'm getting into reloading. Ammo is a commodity as well.

I was looking at those Rhino pistols a few weeks ago. I decided I didn't want to drop a grand on a revolver. Interesting design with the barrel on the bottom of the cylinder. A friend of mine has one of these. He likes it.

Might be hard to find one of these. S&W in high demand, low supply.

Yes, they are a commodity. A commodity that seems to be increasing in value considering the current climate in Washington DC.

I recently scored one of these:

GREAT little plinker. Also a nice backup gun to throw in your car. It's cheap too. I got mine for $300.

I have made up my mind. I've gotta get this bad boy WITH the sight. I'll fill out the paperwork this weekend.

Anyone want some HAT Legatia SE components at 10% below dealer cost? :)

just purchased the revolver from Texas today. Put the SP101 up for consignment...it should sell within the week. Apparently Ruger isn't shipping the SPs and these are in high demand.

...Now to find that optics for it...
