I'm Godzilla! U're Japan!

Hi,
I'm the proud owner of a 2004 Yaris D4D which I bought second-hand in August 2006. I thought there's was no road hold to talk of, then I got to know about TTE parts. I remembered I drove a Yaris TS when I was out there looking for a new car (I finally took my D4D because it didn't have as much interior noise as the TS), and how fine she was handling the corners. I went to my garage I got myself the lowering springs! )Well, that's about it I suppose... keep your thumbs crossed for me.

Suspense!
Well, this morning my Yaris went to the garage... it doesn't look like they're going to be finished tomorrow as promised... they didn't prepare the new parts, so nothing's sprayed yet! D'oh! At least they said they'd wash my car before working on it... it defintely needs a scrub (pollen fallout last week!)
I got a brand-new Yaris D4D (it's only run 100 km until now) as a replacement car... I think I'm going to exchange the engines in both cars! It looks like hell but it drives like heaven... 15 hp make a big difference in a Diesel engine! By the way, has anyone got under the promised 4 l / 100 km fuel use yet? My best shot at it was 4,7 l /100 km, but now that I know my car better I never get under 5 l anymore... |

Yesssssssssss... I got my car back! I nearly fell out of the chair I was sitting in when they drove it up front for me to fetch. OMG, it's simply beautiful! I mean it's no snow plough, it's a very decent tuning but it just looks so cool.
I definetly don't regret doing it, but I still have some problems with the garage... When I'd asked for a price proposal they told me it'd cost about 1800 US$ (see? I converted), but today when I called to ask how much it'd come they told me 2600 US$! In my country they can't go more than 10% over the price proposal once you've agreed to it, so now they're renogatiating the price... ok, they "forgot" to add the new foglights in the price proposal but anyway... they'll call me tomorrow to give me the new price; I told them I wouldn't pay more than 2200 $... hope they'll agree to it. We've both lost on the deal in any case. Photos will be coming soon, the first ones I took were just too shaky!
