AUX mod?!
I`ve been reading around about the options I have for USB/MP3/AUX and so on...
Then...an idea came to my mind, but I didn`t find if someone has tested it. In my AR 147 if you shorten 2 pins and provide signal to other 3 (L/R/GND), you get an AUX input when you change the source. I believe the same can be applied to the Yaris radio :) The problem is that it has some L+/L- and R+/R- inputs on the CN702 input and I`m not sure what/where to wire so I can test. Do you know what`s the difference between the + and - inputs? I hope the attached picture will shed some light about my idea. On the left is the Yaris pinouts. Right is the AR Radio (ISO connector, C3 is for the changer) |
