I fitted a l.e.d. lamp to my luggage space/boot/trunk light. 2014, French built.
It is very easy.
The plastic cover has to be removed. You should be able to see where to lever it off. Use a small screwdriver with the blade wrapped with some electrical tape or similar.
It's a double ended/festoon lamp. Like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Can-bus-Fes...festoon+lights . I can't remember the length so you will need to check before ordering though.
Edit to add, these are the ones I bought in March 2015. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . The one I fitted is still working fine and the other is a spare.
I also fitted these to my interior/ceiling light last April. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The plastic cover is removed in a simialr way to the boot lamp cover but mine was a tight fit, so care is needed not to break or crack the cover!
