How to secure a gas can to OUTSIDE of 3-door HB?
Planning on driving up into very remote parts of Wyoming this weekend to see the eclipse.
Not quite sure what the traffic will be like, and I am worried that I might get into a situation in which I could run out of gas. Of course I'll top up often, but just in case -- I'd love to bring some extra gas. With the 3-door HB there's not really a separate trunk compartment, so I'm not comfortable carrying full gas containers inside the car. I can probably lash a couple of gas cans to the roof ... but has anyone ever come up with a more elegant solution for this admittedly rare issue? |
