Does anyone know what model number or part number Gearbox would fit my 2009 yaris ? I mean what years are compatible to my 2009 car, from what years to what year range will fit my car? i am thinking of getting one from a salvage yard i just need to know what part number or or model year to ask for that would fit my car.

For a direct swap, any C50 from an NCP91L(2006-2011) or NCP93L(sedan) Yaris. NCP131L Yaris use the identical transmission too but Im not sure if any sensors are different between the two generations.

so is the NCP91L the part number of the transmission? and it's in the (2006-2011) model year yaris car?

is the NCP93L also from year (2006-2011) sedan yaris? is the sedan the 4 door yaris ?

sorry i forgot to mention i have a 5 speed manual tranny.

NCP9XX is the chassis code identifier, not in any way a part number. Sedan is 4 doors plus trunk, not 2/4 doors plus hatch. C50 is the transmission model, much like 1NZFE is the engine model.

Still a little confused, so to order one I would say; give me a manual 5 speed c50 transmission of any vehicle (2006-2011) as long as it's manual 5 speed? Is that correct

The weird noise wind up being the gearbox transmission. put one off a 2007 yaris and all good now.
