Intake air temperature circuit input high

Hello everyone,

I am working on 2017 Yaris with 1 nz fe engine. Acquired the car from insurance auction, frontal collision. 81k miles on odometer. Pretty much everything is sorted out and the car runs fine, however CEL remains and the code refers to intake air temperature. Replaced entire air intake and intake manifold with throttle body, as they were damaged. New MAP sensor. Do you know if intake air temp sensor is integrated into same housing as MAP sensor? If so, what color wire supplies voltage to it? I understand this is different from ambient air temperature sensor that is behind bumper cover? Thanks a bunch!

I do not know this particular engine well but I always thought it uses MAF, not MAP.
I also know some engines use both MAP and MAF.
MAFs measure air temperature as well.

Hopefully the details from the 2011 model are the same:-

Codes P0110, P0112 or P0113

The intake air temperature sensor is mounted in the mass air flow meter.
The wiring diagram shows it connected between pins 4 and 5 of connector B72 on the MAF, corresponding to pins 65 and 88 of connector B84 on the ECM.

The wire colours at the MAF should be pink for pin 4 and green for pin 5.

The resistance measured between these pins is dependent on air temperature, with higher resistance for lower temperatures. This could be around 1 - 2 ohms at 100 degrees F or 7000 to 10000 ohms at 32 degrees F.
