Thumbs up The LB interior fits snowboards

Just in case anyone is curious about this, yes, the Yaris LB interior fits snowboards (or just a snowboard) without a problem.

The first image is a 155cm board laid flat and pulled up against the rear. The second image is a shot of the nose in that configuration, showing that you could easily fit a 157 this way, even a 159 if you move the passenger seat forward a notch.

The last image is with the board on its edge, with the nose tucked just a bit alongside the passenger seat. Notice that there's lots of room left, meaning you could easily fit a 165 in this manner without an issue.

For what it's worth, every expert that's chimed in so far this season has declared that we'll get at least our average amount of precipitation, and likely more than that. Let's hope they're right for once!

I picked up a season pass for Mount Rose. I drive right past it every day so not only is it the closest one to our home (Damonte Ranch) for the weekends but it's also the perfect place I can get in some stealth runs on my way to work on the weekday mornings.

Also, my CEO wants to learn to board this season, so after I get him through some lessons he's planning on using company funds to pick up mini-passes for Diamond (6 minutes from our office in Incline Village) for those of us that board or ski so that we can have "powder meetings" on short notice.

My wife is still recovering from her broken leg (she fell down the stairs at home a year ago, just 3 weeks after we moved in) so she's passing on this season. She made me promise, though, that if I make a Kirkwood run this season I have to take her with me so she can get drunk with all of the other injured people in the lodge while I hit the slopes. hehe

How about you and your family? Any plans for hitting the slopes this season?
