Anybody have good/bad luck with paint and body work done at the dealership? My friend's xD got smashed by a Honda CRV yesterday...of course the lady was using her cell phone at the time.
My friend's thinking is that the dealership will use better parts.

Dealerships usually don't have their own body shop. The ones around here farm the work out to a local shop.

We have a nice body shop that charges a little more, but they do GREAT work, and are actually developing a body kit for the 300ZX. Great place, but again, a little pricey. Still, Maaco is just down the street, if you trust them. As for our own work, I don't know any dealer that does.

When I had a Ford Escort GT [$7400.00 damage to the rear] the Ford dealership spoiled me with their on-site body shop...insurance company wanted to total it.
The thing about the Scion is the lady's insurance is so low $ they don't have their own claims adjuster, just want her to go by cheapy appearing repair shops that they named off for an estimate. My friend is planning on telling them dealership [not on-site] or Baron & Hart |

Go and get your own estimate from a body shop you trust, using top of the line replacement parts, etc. Tell the ladies insurance co to pay up or you are going to sue since she rearended you.

Unsure... but it looked pretty nice. The place is called Diamond (something) and it is in Pueblo West, CO. You could probably find it on the web, at least the phone number. Ask for a guy named Mitch, and tell him Eric from Pueblo Toyota told you. He might give me a discount someday if I ever get a new Toyota in the future. Who knows. But at least he will know how you heard about him. If he sounds lost, tell him that I am the guy with the 2009 Highlander Hybrid that has the Pearl paint that needs to be fixed.
