I assume everything is stock?

Stock form is designed to be as smooth and quite as possible with the exception of replacing the stock tires with a set specifically designed for noise reduction. Other mods like larger wheels/lower profile tires and lowered suspension will make these complaints much worse.

Also, what type of car are you used too? If you're coming from a Camry, for example, then you can't expect the same level of refinement over the road. The Yaris is very smooth compared to many competitors. Go test drive a Honda Fit and you'll think the Yaris is as smooth and quite as a Lexus.

Crappy OEM tires. Time to upgrade.
