another alternator bites the dust
Went to my moms and dads house friday evening and my car was making a winding noise like a wheel bearing or loud super charger. I thought it was a wheel bearing at first but the noise got louder with reving the engine so i figured alt or water pump. Took belt off and alternator off yesterday and its hard to spin the pulley so the bearing is bad and the regulator is stuck cause its up to 14.10 volts instead of the normal 13.8 My car has 60,000 on it. Dealer wanted 590 for the alternator
No one carries these things either
