...for my teenage son!

I've had great experiences with VWs and this one is no exception. A 2005.5 with less than 60K on it. It has power everything, moonroof, factory alloys and the 2.5L I5 with the 6-speed auto. I have to admit it drives like a dream, and makes my Yaris feel cheap!

The ironic thing is when he was born, he came home in a very similar car, a 1995 Passat GLX. Since his mother was asleep in the passenger seat, I slowly crept my speed up on the autobahn until we were at 100 MPH (160 KPH). After a few seconds, I slowed down again; but I wanted him to have the distinction of traveling at a ton when he was only two days old...

Nice I hope it serves you well. And if not at least your near Mexico so parts are easy to get.

Been driving it for the past couple of days, honestly it is a great car. Fast, handles well, decent gas mileage, comfortable, lots of cool gadgets. Our Passats (we had two) served us well, the first had 140K miles on it when we traded it in, the second had 160K miles when we sold it. This car has 60K and it feels brand new. I don't expect it to give us any issues, but I will say getting to the air filter is a royal pain!
