Plasti Dip Hubcaps

Right now the Yaris looks like this...

What I'm aiming for, which I believe won't be exact will be like this...

If I'm not confused all I have to do is wash the hubcaps, sand them, wash again, wait for them to dry and then plasti-dip them.

Thumbs up for yes .
Thumbs down for no .

make sure you use many coats per cap. Or it will not peel off very easily

I saw home depot has, "Performix Brand 11 oz. Plasti Dip Black Rubber Coating Spray" which is multi-purpose.

Do you think 4 cans will be good enough for 3 coats on all four wheels?

You don't need to sand. Wash them well and make sure they are very dry. Plasti Dip HATES water. Do a light first coat, and heavy 2nd, 3rd, 4th coats. 4 cans should be enough.

Why not just buy different hubcaps? They are cheap
