Congratulations to the San Francisco Giants!
 2014 World Series Champions Many things about how the Bay Area continues to evolve drive me nuts (and California as well), but I still love my 6 teams in the 3 major sports!!!!!...the 5 in the Bay Area (Giants, A's, 49ers, Raiders, and Warriors) + the Lakers (I read a book about Jerry West when I was 6, and I was hooked). Some fans go a lifetime without any of the teams they root for ever winning a championship. 'My' 6 teams have won 27 championships in the last 43 years. I feel as though I'm one of the most fortunate fans around...but not as fortunate as those of you who will attend the Giants victory parade  !Congratulations, Giants! |
