Aux Input Wire
I have searched through the forums and read a bunch of different threads on various Aux Input problems, but I haven't found one quite like what I have. I recently purchased a repossessed 07 Yaris LB that had the radio stolen from it. It was fixed before I got to it, but the Aux Input doesn't work.
I have the "Stereo Input Jack," but when I look under the jack, there is no wire or harness plugged into it. Also, when I look at the back of the stereo, there is nothing plugged into the Auxiliary Input spot. I cannot find anything to plug into that spot either. Another problem that I have found is that there are 2 unknown wires that have been cut and not fixed. One is red, and the other is what looks like a shielded audio cable that has 3 wires inside of the shielding. I am not sure what they do, because the radio and all of its other functions work properly. I wouldn't mind running my own wire, but I can't find a place to buy the connectors for either end. I know I can't get them from the dealer. I found one here, but I can't buy it and I can't find the other end. Any help is much appreciated. |
