Throttle body cleaning
I know with a wire driven throttle body you aren't supposed to manually open the butterfly while cleaning, just turn key to on and depress the gas pedal.
Well I tried that but the butterfly didn't budge. It stays stock still. Anybody else run into this? I am really not open to removing the complete throttle body just for cleaning and the car runs fine. |

What you have mentioned (Key ON, gas pedal to the floor) worked well for my Yaris 2007.
I suppose that your car is driving OK and you are not trying to clean the throttle body because of some issue with throttle body. :) |
