Some new toys for my car
Yeah~~
I just received my car back for its sound upgrade done by SimplicityInSound. My ears are not that picky since I can live with ipod/mp3 most of time, but I want to have some soild custom job done so I went with the best soundman. The installer, B, at SimplicityInSound is actually a friend of mine, and he is well known as an audiophile in local automotive community. So, the toy list: Kenwood dnx8120 Dvd/Nav Kenwood iP300V iPod a/v Link Kenwood hr200 H/D Radio Kenwood ccd2000 Rear-View Cam Zapco Reference RB16.2 2x way Zapco Reference 350.2 2x ch amp Zapco I10 10" sub and 30+ custom labor hours and love at SimplicityInSound and kaboom... here are the pics: --------------------- New sound setup by B at SimplicityInSound. *lol... what to look for? The flush microphone mount to dash!* ------------------------------------------ The sound quality is rock soild to an audio noob like me, and I hope you guys like it also. I know there's a company that makes a nice stealth sub setup for Scion TCs and I think XBs. Would be nice if there was a company making stealth setups for Yarii. |

hehe i get htat a lot, but honestly, i have absolutely no time to make these boxes.
if you look through my site, you will see that i do everyhitn custom, infact, i have long vowed never to duplicate an install :) the only thing that i really "produce" is fiberglass kick panels for 350zs...but thats much less itme consuming than this. i always prefer to work on the car itself, doing entire systems, and it keeps me busy enough that i doubt people want to wait 4-5 months for me to build them a box :) b |

how much do you usually charge for your work. I have been looking for a good stereo installer for a long time. I used to go to custom audio in mountain view but they jacked up my other car. So been looking to do a system in my yaris. That or tear everything out of my acura and throw it in my yaris with some extras

yarissedan,
well its hard to say, based totally on the install. just go to my site (listed in josephdoc's post), browse around, and then click on the "schedule an appointment" page, and send me an email with the answers to the questions i ask on that page, and we can go from there. one thing though, if you want me to do the work, you will need to be patient and wait, i always run a long waiting list, that menas car after car booked via deposits, usually in the 3-4 months range, infact, just last week i took a deposit for a car scheduled to come in late march/early april of next year. I do things a little differently than most shops, as i just work out of my house and only do custom installs, and only concentrate on one car at a time :) i know thats a long time to wait, but i would like to think that i have earned this trust with epople based on my work and how i treat people...if you want referenecs on me, you can serach for my name on my350z, g35driver, club lexus, scionlife, volvospeed, legacygt.com 8thcivic, golfmkv, nasoic, i-club, and other car audio specific forums for references :) Bing |
