boot is noisy (yaris HB)

i have narrowed it down to the two plastic storage boxes next to the spare tire making buzzing noises while around 3k rpm (manual). next step is to try to add some padding to the contact points to the rest of the car..

Interesting! I have an auto and do not seem to have the same noise problem. Please keep posting your progress in your quest for quietness.

Are the plastic locks properly engaged?

Also, is something inside one of the two trays vibrating?

So far, we have heard no noises from that area in our M/T Liftback.

Make sure the bins are connected properly. That could be the problem. I haven't heard any real noises at all in mine.

i think i've solved 90% of my noise.
it's the tool in the box.. i removed it out of the box and no more annoying racket
just some minor ones remain

so, i've stuck some felt where the back top light touches the rear glass. there's no more rattling! hmm interesting. but there's still a clicking noise but it's minor.. will try to trouble shoot it soon. only 5% noise left haha
