Yaris On Hills
On my trip out west I got some experience with the Yaris on hills. We dont have that in NJ. With CC on it downshifts agressively to maintain speed. I just thrashed the crap out of the engine and transmission! Very unlike driving in flat NJ.

Northwest NJ actually has some impressive hills
Years ago, when I used to go to the Pocono mountains, I would to prefer driving the MR2 vs the Beetle because the Beetle required constant downshifting every time I went up a hill. The MR2 went 55 up and down the hills no problem. The cruise control on the MR2 was also a plus. Last edited by Sirius-XM; 07-21-2010 at 08:15 PM. |
