Rear brake line replacement
Hi all,
This is my first post on here 😁 I've bought a mk1 1.3vvti for my son as his first car. It failed the mot on front drop links and rear brake lines. I am trying to remove the solid brake line so I can renew it all. But I can't see the brackets behind the fuel tank. How does it release? Do I need to remove the fuel tank? I've lowered it as much as I can on the bolts that hold it in place, but I'm stuck now. Help please! |

Thanks. But that didn't go into detail about removing the hard lines. I ended up removing all 4 bolts that hold the fuel tank in anyway. Luckily, there was only around 5-10 litres in the tank. I have removed the lines now. Just need to get new ones made up, so I can refit
