Oil pressure/temp sensor

I can't find any sensors that work with 0-5V anywhere for my 1NZ!

I wish a sensor that includes pressure and temp in one (If it does exist). (Sensor must be compatable with G-Tech pro EGS)

Anyone who can point me to a specific brand or company that sells these type of sensors is appreciated.

Thanks!

oil will be hottest at the return line.

oil will show the most accurate backpressure at the pump itself.

are you sure you want the sensor in the same place for both functions?

i suggest putting a temp sensor in a sandwich adaptor

and putting the pressure sensor in parallel to the stock pressure switch, found on the front of the block.

^ good spots. I just replaced my stock pressure sensor on the head, since I no longer care if the "idiot" light works any more.

you replaced the "sensor" on the block with an actual sensor, right? cuz the one on the block is just a switch (that comes on at a ridiculously low pressure)

I think that's what he meant by "idiot light" - the one that comes on shortly after your temp gauge shoots past H(if we had an actual gauge) and you snap a connecting rod.

Yes. The stock one switches at anything under 10psi, I think.

The set up already saved me once (with the tC). Big oil leak caused 0 pressure on the gauge and I knew to shut her down ASAP. You get an idiot light and you think you can keep driving.

A lot of times cars do not have a turbo or an oil cooler, so it is difficult to find a location for the sensor. In our case, the easiest way to create a tap is to use a sandwich plate which screws into the oil filter location. These usually give at least 2 taps for both oil pressure and temperature. You can get these from greddy, summit racing, etc. As for the sensor, have you looked at GReddy or Defi? Call up customer service to see if the specs match.

I already have one Flex a lite sandwich adapter for the coming oil cooler.. http://www.flex-a-lite.com/auto/html...-adapters.html

BTW about that "IDiot light", when I swapped the engine first time startup it immediately came on. We switched off the engine immidiately and checked oil pressure by removing an oil link and startup engine for few seconds. The oil went well out with pressure so why this, maybe the sensor! Replaced and the same!

Since now still running with it on but sometimes especially when going into boost it turns off automatically.
