Canadian Yaris 07 has tachometer?

So does it have one? I read the US doesn't. The toyota website says it has one but all the pics I've seen of the console doesnt have a tach. Please confirm. Thanks.

Yes they all have a tach
At least the 3 door CE, 5 door LE and and RS I drove had a tachs.
I have an RS

I personally prefered the blue display from the LE over the amber RS display but oh well, a small price to pay for better front and rear seats, wheels and side skirts/spiler etc.

This thread says that the US does not. Yeah, what's up with not having a tach? And why does Canada get it and not the US? Weird. I could understand the automatics not having it but a manual should be a must.

Tachs are standard on the manual sedans.

In Oz, the sedans get the analog cluster while the hatches get the digital cluster. Both have tachs.

Blame Toyota USA. They made the conscious decision not to include a tach, probably to keep the overall price down. Goes to say that their bean counters are probably not drivers themselves for them to take out the tach.

Just so you know.. when the echo hb was first introduced in Canada it did not come with a tach either... I think that the manufactures omit the items that they think they can get away with it.... especially when you consider the fact that most ppl drive auto... the tach just isn't all that important....

just be happy that you have two side mirrors...

Just picked up my Yaris 3dr LB CE. It does indeed have a tach. It's a nice car to ride... my first standard shift too. soo much fun, but hills are abit scary...
