turbo kit > Twins Turbo
The shop that did my tC has expressed interest in building a kit for the Yaris. I will meet with them next week.
I know management issues have not been solved, but these guys tend to go for standalone anyway. I'll post again if I have something new to tell! www.twinsturbo.com

there is going to be alot of people going nuts about the idea of a "twin turbo" yaris, despite the fact that the company is named for a set of actual twins...

Hey, I'd be pretty happy with a 50 whp increase.
I'd like to see a confirmed report of axles snapping at 190 whp? I have not heard of this, and even if so, it leaves a lot of room for power gains, doesn't it?

spkrman did, I dont know if he's a member here or not recently broke an axle and is only pushing 183 whp....90 whp isnt alot of room for gains....on my car our axles dont start breaking till 400+

If I recall properly, ZPI had axle problems with a boosted xB on slicks (and I think it was boosted more than the 180hp of their normal kit).

Seeing that they once said that an xB axle was snapped like a twig, with slicks at 12psi or something like that.
I wouldnt go past 5-6psi for such a small car, and you should get around 130-140 whp... Nothing drastic, but safe. Oh and back to the whole internals thing, There isnt anything really but forged piston heads. The rods are this cars huge weakspot, plain and simple, they would snap if you pushed them for any moderate length of time.

I have Drive Shaft shop axles in my tC. They were expensive though, so I'm not sure I'd go that far for my Yaris.
Like I said, I'd be happy with 50 hp more. To the wheels, of course
