Haven't seen any videos of the 2 yet, but have been following the design for about 2 years. Not a bad little car. Though it seems it deff was VW inspired for it's design.

I thought it was an Echo/Yaris clone,in fact i wonder if Toyota couldnt sue Mazda for automotive plagerism.

I love the look of the Mazda 2. Although I certainly wouldn't say it's a Yaris knockoff by any means.

I think it looks very close to the Yaris. As a matter of fact, you can buy a MatchBox diecast of a four-door Mazda 2 hatchback in bright green.




I found some at Target and took a black Sharpie to it to make the closest thing to my black Yaris hatchback I can find! Just be sure to blacken out those Mazda badges!
