Question Lowering Springs: Need help!

Hello all. I have 15" slipstreams on 195/55/15 tires. I'm currently on the market for some lowering springs. I know absolutely nothing about springs and suspensions. What would you recommend I should get? I have a fairly wide gap between the tire and fender. How low should I go?
